Medical Materials supplier Fort Wayne Metals has announced that the company is not directly affected by a recent explosion at a BASF chemical plant in Ludwigshafen, Germany.
“We are saddened about the loss of life,” states Kay Haggard, Environmental & Product Stewardship Manager. “However, BASF is not a direct chemical supplier to Fort Wayne Metals, and to date, none of our chemical suppliers have indicated to us that the event will impact them.” Fort Wayne Metals will continue to monitor the situation and update customers should any changes arise.
